Maple Bacon Tempeh BLT Sandwich
pure maple syrup
Braggs liquid aminos
Thinly slice the tempeh
Combine all spices, and Braggs liquid aminos in a quart storage bag, and add the sliced tempeh. Let sit for at least 2 hours
In a medium pan, heat the coconut oil to medium. Add the sliced tempeh and pan fry until lightly browned on each side.
Reduce heat to low and add the maple syrup. Once the gooey liquid bubbles and carmelizes remove the pan from heat.
Serve with toasted bread, vegan mayonnaise, mashed avocado, lettuce, and thinly sliced tomatoes.
You can adjust the amount of Braggs liquid aminos to adjust the saltiness of this recipe.
